Thank you to all of the Mason Corporate Partners who have supported the city-led Mason Corporate Challenge 5k race. Since 2015, our companies have rallied and shown up in teams big and small for fun competition unique to the Mason business community and the region. This corporate event was originally developed in partnership with several founding businesses and designed to elevate a culture of wellness, build camaraderie and connection amongst the Mason corporate community and give back to local charities. At this time, the Mason Corporate Challenge is taking a hiatus while we partner with the newly renamed, Cincinnati Open, to build a world class tennis development. The new campus is slated to be a year-round activated venue hosting not only two weeks of 1000 level men’s and women’s tennis tournament (a 45-year legacy event in the City of Mason), but also housing a tennis and pickleball club and combined Grizzly Golf operations. Construction will take place through 2025.
The City of Mason is committed to nurturing a culture of wellness for its corporate community through a host of initiatives. During this pause, our mission of wellness and give back continue, and we encourage our companies to explore and support other events organized by the following charities:

- United Way of Warren County
Since the Mason Corporate Challenge 5k race began, the Mason corporate community and their employees have donated over $80,000 to the above charities. See you in a few years

History of the Mason Corporate Challenge
In 2014, the former President and CEO of L3, Russ Walker, reached out to the Mason Economic Development office and outlined a vision for a wellness event that would bring the Mason corporate community together in a fun, competitive way. Russ had been part of a Corporate Challenge in a previous City and believed the initiative would work well in Mason. He also wanted a charitable component and the idea was launched to bring the businesses of Mason together in a Corporate Challenge.
